1. Introduction

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of dorotheafashionhouse.com (the “Website”) and the purchase of products from Dorothea Fashion House (“Dorothea Fashion House”, “Dorothea”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).

Dorothea Fashion House is an individually operated retail business based in Shirgaon, Badlapur (E), Thane District, Maharashtra, India, offering Indian women's fashion products to customers in India.

By accessing or using the Website, creating an account, or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Website.

2.Eligibility & Account

2.1 You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating an account or placing an order.

2.2 An account is required to place orders through the Website. You may authenticate using the authentication methods made available by us, which may include email/password, Google authentication, and OTP authentication.

2.3 You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for activity occurring through your account, except where such activity results from circumstances beyond your reasonable control.

2.4 You must notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.

2.5 We may suspend, restrict, or terminate an account where reasonably necessary to protect the Website, customers, our business, or third parties, including in cases of suspected fraud, abuse, unlawful activity, or violation of these Terms.

3. Products

3.1 We sell Indian women's fashion products on a retail basis.

3.2 We attempt to display product descriptions, photographs, colors, measurements, sizes, prices, and other information accurately. However, minor variations may occur due to screen settings, photography, manufacturing characteristics, lighting, or other factors.

3.3 Product availability is subject to change without notice.

3.4 We reserve the right to limit quantities, refuse orders, or discontinue products where reasonably necessary.

4. Prices

4.1 Product prices displayed on the Website are the prices applicable at the time of purchase, subject to errors, changes, and applicable charges.

4.2 We may change prices at any time. A price change will not ordinarily affect an order that has already been accepted, except where required to correct an obvious pricing or technical error.

4.3 If an obvious pricing or listing error results in an order being placed at an incorrect price, we may contact you and offer the option to reconfirm the order at the correct price or cancel the order and issue an applicable refund.

5.Placing & Acceptance of Orders

5.1 Adding a product to the cart does not guarantee availability.

5.2 An order request is submitted when you complete the Website checkout process.

5.3 We may accept, reject, or cancel an order for reasons including product unavailability, suspected fraud, incorrect pricing, technical errors, payment problems, address or delivery limitations, or other legitimate operational reasons.

5.4 An order confirmation does not necessarily mean that the order has been dispatched.

5.5 If we cancel an order for which payment has already been received, the applicable amount will be refunded.

6. Payment

6.1 Available payment methods may include cards, UPI, and Cash on Delivery (“COD”).

6.2 Online payments may be processed through Razorpay and applicable payment partners.

6.3 For COD orders, payment is payable upon delivery according to the applicable delivery arrangements.

6.4 You must provide accurate payment and billing information and must not use another person's payment method without authorization.

6.5 We may cancel or restrict transactions that we reasonably believe are fraudulent, unauthorized, abusive, or otherwise unlawful.

7.Shipping & Delivery

7.1 Orders may be shipped through Shiprocket and courier/logistics partners selected through or by our shipping arrangements.

7.2 Delivery estimates are approximate and may be affected by courier operations, weather, public holidays, remote locations, address issues, customer availability, force majeure events, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

7.3 We are not responsible for delays caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, although we will reasonably assist with shipment-related issues.

7.4 Customers must provide an accurate and complete delivery address and contact information.

7.5 If delivery fails because of an incorrect address, inability to receive the shipment, repeated delivery attempts, refusal, or other circumstances attributable to the customer, additional charges or other consequences may apply where permitted.

8. Order Cancellation

8.1 You may request cancellation of an order before the order is dispatched.

8.2 Once an order has been dispatched, cancellation through the Website may no longer be available.

8.3 If an eligible prepaid order is cancelled before dispatch, the amount paid for the cancelled order will be refunded.

8.4 For COD orders cancelled before dispatch, there is generally no payment to refund.

9.Returns & Exchanges

9.1 Dorothea provides a 7-day return/exchange policy only for:

• A product that arrives damaged or defective; or
• A wrong size being shipped by Dorothea, where the customer ordered one size and a different size was dispatched.

9.2 A size issue caused by the customer selecting the wrong size is NOT eligible for return or exchange.

9.3 A return or exchange request must be notified to us within 7 days of delivery.

9.4 For damaged products, customers should provide clear photographs showing the damage when submitting the request.

9.5 For wrong-size shipments, customers may be asked to provide photographs or other information reasonably necessary to verify the issue.

9.6 Returned products must retain their original tags and packaging and should be returned in the condition reasonably required for inspection.

9.7 We may reject a return or exchange request where the claimed issue cannot be verified, the request is made after the applicable 7-day period, or the product does not satisfy the applicable return conditions.

9.8 If an eligible replacement is unavailable, we will provide an applicable refund instead of an exchange.

10.Return Shipping & Inspection

10.1 Once an eligible return is approved, return collection and transportation may take approximately 7–14 days depending on the shipment or logistics company.

10.2 After the returned product reaches our warehouse, we may inspect the product to verify the reported issue and compliance with the return conditions.

10.3 Refund processing may depend on the time required for return delivery, warehouse receipt, inspection, approval, and payment processing.

11. Refunds

11.1 Where a refund is approved, it will be processed after the applicable return has been received and inspected, where inspection is required.

11.2 The time for a refund to reach you may depend on the return process, payment method, bank, payment service provider, or other financial institution.

11.3 For eligible COD refunds, we may process the refund through UPI or bank transfer using information reasonably required to complete the refund.

11.4 Customers are responsible for providing accurate refund information. We are not responsible for delays or failed transfers caused by incorrect information supplied by the customer.

12.Fraud, Abuse & Misuse

You must not:

• Use the Website for unlawful purposes
• Provide false or misleading information
• Create accounts for fraudulent purposes
• Attempt to obtain products or refunds through deception
• Submit false damage, wrong-item, or return claims
• Abuse promotional offers or referral programs, if any
• Attempt unauthorized access to the Website or its systems
• Interfere with Website operation or security
• Use automated systems to scrape, overload, probe, or attack the Website without authorization
• Use another person's account or payment method without authorization
• Engage in conduct that may harm Dorothea, customers, service providers, or other users

We may take appropriate action, including cancelling orders, restricting accounts, refusing transactions, or pursuing available legal remedies.

13.Website Content & Intellectual Property

13.1 The Website and its content, including text, photographs, graphics, logos, designs, product descriptions, branding, software, layout, and other materials, are owned by or licensed to Dorothea Fashion House or their respective rights holders.

13.2 You may use the Website for personal and lawful shopping purposes.

13.3 You may not reproduce, copy, distribute, modify, publicly display, sell, license, scrape, or commercially exploit Website content without appropriate authorization, except where permitted by applicable law.

14.Customer Reviews & Submissions

If the Website allows you to submit reviews, photographs, comments, feedback, or other content, you agree that:

• You will not submit unlawful, defamatory, abusive, misleading, infringing, or fraudulent content.

Third-party services may have their own terms, conditions, privacy policies, availability limitations, and technical requirements.

We are not responsible for independent acts or omissions of third-party providers, except to the extent liability cannot lawfully be excluded.

This clause does not apply to the extent that the relevant loss results from our own unlawful conduct or liability that cannot legally be transferred to you.
